Hysteria: Art and Artifacts of a perpetually angry, imperfect Feminist
Opening at Push/Pull March 2020. A series of mixed media fine art, illustrations, and handmade books exploring my self-tasked prompt of: "A visual analysis of womxn's roles in capitalist society and the structures that have built and maintained them."
I'm using a fluid method of research and inspiration that involves sketching, journaling, found objects, and observations. Here are some of the pages of sketches and journaling for the project so far. These will be compiled in a zine that accompanies the artwork.

A Day Well Spent
In June 2019 I took a short vacation to visit my best friend in San Francisco. We spent a day at the California Academy of Sciences and the Conservatory of Flowers - both at Golden Gate park. I took well over a hundred photos as I tried to absorb it all. I've been drawing and painting from the photos with the goal to do one drawing or painting per photo and then to collect those in a book titled "A Day Well Spent"
