Workshop prices below are for online classes. In-person options are available, please include in your submission notes if you would like to do in-person.
Art and craft projects keep our creative thinking skills sharp and help to relieve stress. Plus, it's a great way to have fun with friends, family or co-workers. Below is an example of classes I'm able to teach online for groups.
All classes include materials kits in the price of the class. Materials kits are not optional and include shipping in the US. They ensure that all participants are working with the same materials and tools. Some tools are not mailed - these may include hot glue, scissors, or ink.
Minimum 50% deposit is due at time of scheduling; balance due 48 hours before event. Deposits are not refundable within 10 days of the event.

Small Book Making
2-3 hours $50 per person 4 person minimum Materials kit includes specialty papers, fabrics, board, thread and embellishments. Not included are glue (pva or white glue such as Elmers or ModPodge), awl, hot glue, utility knife/scissors and needle. Inner paper can include mixed media, Bristol, watercolor, sketching/drawing or other papers. Confirmation of what type of book you are looking for will be made at the time of booking. We will work together to determine the best book design/style for your goals and needs. Book size is 5.5" x 8.5" or smaller to utilize standard paper sizes. Class is appropriate for ages 14+ |

DIY Screen Printing
4-5 Hours $75/per person 4 person minimum Students receive a mini screen printing screen handmade by Maxx, plus screen writing fluid, a brush, and items to prink on. Screens are small and there is no photo emulsion or special equipment required. Students will put their own design on the screen, approximately 3" x 4". There will be breaks where we wait for things to dry. Students will need access to a sink that they can get messy. The last 1-2 hours of the class is spent printing and troubleshooting. We discuss the basics and history of screen printing and questions are encouraged! Class is appropriate for ages 7+ |

Intro to Embroidery - Trucker Hats
4 Hours $60/per person 4 person minimum Learn the basics of hand embroidery and leave with your own stitched design on a trucker hat. Hats are foam front and color options will be given before shipping materials kits. Materials include embroidery floss, hat and needles. No other special equipment is required and no sink. Hats are adult size. Class not recommended for students under 12 without supervision. |

Intro to Acrylic Painting - Nightscape
2 Hours $45/person 5 person minimum Learn about how to create depth, master values, and practice different brush strokes, while creating a moonlit nightscape. Materials kit includes canvas panel, black and white paint, and brushes. Students will need to provide their own water cups for rinsing brushes and recommend to have a rag or paper towels on-hand for clean up. Appropriate for ages 8+ |

Magic Wand STEM + Art Workshop
2 Hours $45/person 5 person minimum Create a light up magic wand by making your own LED circuit with a hidden switch. Lights are activated when you squeeze their hidden button. Materials kits include everything you need except hot glue and scissors and are themed telling you what type of magical powers you'll be able to harness once you master your wand. Custom themes available by request. Appropriate for ages 12+ without supervision and 6+ with supervision. |

Macrame for Beginners Workshop
2 Hours $40/person 4 person minimum Master the square knot, half knot, and a basic diamond design. Materials include twine/yarn, dowel and optional beads. Scissors and strong tape are needed at home. Custom designs available by request. Appropriate for ages 10+ |

Mini World Dome Crafting
2 Hours $50/person 4 person minimum Materials kit includes 2 mini plastic domes, foliage, and a variety of tiny things - every kit is a surprise. Participants will need to provide their own adhesive, hot glue is recommended. Instructor provides guidance on creating a scene and arrangements. OPTIONAL: LED light up world, create a world and make it light up. Additional $20/person and 1 hour |

Pop Up Cards
2 Hours $35/person 4 person minimum Materials kit includes a variety of paper, crafty bits, and a sample simple pop up. Learn how to craft flat paper into 3-d art. Perfect for gifts, illustrated books, or just getting creative. Adhesive and scissors are not included in the materials kit. Appropriate for ages 8+ |

Dramatic Pacing Comics
1 Hour $20/person 3 person minimum Everyone's a poet once you learn the art of dramatic pacing. This class requires no special materials - participants provide their own drawing tools and surface (digital is ok too). Great for people interested in comics but not confident in their drawing skills. Learn how to use abstract images and simple objects in your panels to make an impact. |

Comic Life
1 Hour $20/person 3 person minimum In this class you'll go through 3-4 guided exercises to create your own autobiographical comics. Great for those interested in memoir or autobiographical work but not sure where to start. Exercises can be customized for your group. No special materials needed, participants provide their own drawing tools and surface (digital is ok). Some confidence in drawing ability may be helpful. |
